It is said that there was a lack of safety of the workers and because of which many workers lost their lives and that has made it one of the scariest places in India. The sound of someone screaming and the sound of footsteps was heard very often at night which has forced the places to be abandoned. It is believed the dead workers haunt the tunnel at night.
With the mystery that where did the people of the Kuldhara village go that night, the story behind this village being haunted is unknown. It is said that the King of the village fell in love with the daughter of the chief and when they did not allow the king to marry her, the king warned them that he would impose house taxes on the villagers if they do not allow them to get married. On that night the villagers disappeared and there was no news to where they have gone and it is believed that they cursed the village before leaving because of the cruel king.
GP Block, Meerut
Many cases have been reported about the Gd Block in Meerut as people in large numbers have seen four men drinking alcohol and a lady in a red dress. Whenever someone went closer to see what it actually was, all the five disappeared. Many same cases have come up and this is why this place is termed as one of the haunted places in India.

Story says that a 13-year old prince, Narayanrao was murdered brutally in this fort and his body was cut into pieces and thrown in the nearby river. Hindus believe that the ritual of a dead body should be done properly else the soul won’t find peace and so it is believed that the prince’s body still screams for help and his voice is often heard in the fort. The place is the scariest on a full moon night where several reports of a crying child have come out.
